Case Forwarded to the U.S. Embassy Manila

When the NVC is done with all their security checks in about 1 to 4 weeks, they will then forward your case to the U.S. Embassy Manila. It will take 3-5 business days to arrive once NVC sends it and then it’s the embassy’s turn to send the alien fiance a letter in a few days! Yay! You are now so close!

Some other couples who want to take one step ahead get all the documents they need at this time. As what I’ve read in forums like Visa Journey, some got their Medical Examination already as soon as they had their case number even before the fiance received a letter from the U.S. Embassy Manila.

You can get your case number by calling the NVC at 603 334-0700 and be ready with both of your names. In my case, I waited for the letter.  When I had my Medical Exam, the St. Luke’s Extension only asked for my case number and appointment letter. I was with some Filipinas who only got their case numbers with them and they were able to get to go through their medical without questions!
